My Story

Jaylin was visiting family in Memphis, TN from Atlanta, GA.  Jaylin spoke with his Mother at 6:00pm and at 11:45 pm on December 16, 2022 on Cochese Rd. would be the last time he takes a breath.  The story MPD and TBI told the media was that MPD saw a suspicious car and attempted to pull them over for a traffic stop.  The driver of the car, who is a friend of his younger brother fled the police and crashed the car into a ditch in American Way Park,  Jaylin and 3 other young black men jumped out and ran. MPD then stated that Jaylin shot at them and they return fire shooting Jaylin and he was prenounced died on the scene.
